Never Shave Or Wax Again

Never Shave Or Wax Again
The process of laser and light-based hair removal is well known and established. It has been proven in clinical use around the world for over 15 years as a safe and effective way to achieve long-term hair removal.
otothermolysis in which optical energy is used to disable hair growth. In order to achieve such thermal effect, the hair shaft needs to selectively absorb light energy and transform it into heat. This selectivity is achieved when high optical energy that is delivered to the tissue is mostly absorbed by hair shaft pigment, while the epidermis and the surrounding tissue is active
ly cooled (by a cooling mechanism). Melanin is the pigment in the hair shaft that is responsible for the absorption of the light, which generates the heat that eventually disables hair growth. When hair growth is disabled, long-term hair removal is achieved.

Hair Growth Cycle
Every hair in our body goes through the three phases of the hair growth cycle: Anagen,Catagen and Telogen. These phases have an important impact on how the process of light-based hair removal works. Anagen is the hair growth phase while Catagen and Telogen, are both resting phases. |

The time it takes to complete a full hair growth cycle varies from person to person and the location of the hair on the body, but is typically 18-24 months. At any given moment the majority of the hair follicles in any skin area are in the resting stages. These resting hairs cannot be effected by laser or light hair removal treatment However hairs in the growing Anagen phase will respond. It is therefore important to understand that it may take a full hair growth cycle to achieve complete results when doing any energy based hair removal.

Under Arm Waxing
Waxing
Underarm waxing removes the entire hair and it will take up to three weeks for it to grow back. Waxing makes hair that grows back feel softer than ever before so that is something to consider. Chances of cutting the skin with waxing is almost non-existent compared to shaving.
There are two types of wax that is used for underarm waxing and that is hard and liquid. Liquid wax is heated to a certain consistency and after application is usually removed with muslin cloth. Now hard wax is heated until consistency of molasses is obtained and is most suited for sensitive areas. This is the main reasons for two types of waxes that are used.
Tips About Underarm Waxing
You need to at least have an quarter of an inch of hair to be removed. Armpits need to be scrubbed on the day of the treatment. The area you plan to have waxed should be free of makeup, lotions, or deodorant as this will just make it harder to get the wax to work properly. Broken or cracked skin should never be waxed as the results could be quits painful for you. Waxed area needs to stay out of the sun for at least 24 hours and nothing added like makeup or deodorant either for that time frame.

Hair Removal on Legs and Thighs
Hair Removal on Legs and Thighs
If you're willing to let your hair grow out to 1cm between salon visits, a hot wax treatment is the most effective way to remove hair on the legs and thighs. But if you don't want to wait six weeks, shaving is the best way to keep legs and thighs smooth and bare. Shaving is also a great way to exfoliate the area.
What to Expect When Waxing
Waxing is the longest-lasting temporary hair removal technique available. When wax is warm, it enters the follicle, allowing the hair to be pulled out from the root. Hair grows back in 3 to 6 weeks. The disadvantage to waxing is that it can be painful for those with sensitive skin. And hair must grow back by 1cm before waxing again (this takes up to six weeks).
